Your guide will pick you up from your hotel. A journey of almost 3 hours to Pergamum. The first visit is the Acropolis of Pergamum famous for its library (the second largest in the ancient world after the Library of Alexandria) and for the paper that gave its name parchment. We visit the Temple of Trajan, the most inclined theater in the ancient world and cisterns in the city. Lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Asclepion, the sanctuary of God of health and an important healing center of the ancient world (second most important center after Epidaurus in Greece). Pergamum is the hometown of the famous doctor Galen. Back to the hotel.
